AYV Teachers, this is a testament to your profound impact!

Your dedication and compassion are transforming lives—not only by enhancing skills but also by inspiring students to embrace kindness and generosity. AAPI Youth Voices is incredibly proud of each and every one of you—you are the heart and pride of AAPI Youth Voices!

AAPI Youth Voices Impact

Through our free one-on-one English lessons, we are helping to bridge educational gaps in underserved and remote communities, promoting equity and opportunity. Our program has expanded to support students from the Tibetan, Qiang, and Yi ethnic groups in some of China’s most remote and historically marginalized areas, including the Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Chongqing Municipality, and provinces like Yunnan, Sichuan, Hubei, Henan, Guangdong, and Fujian.

We are also proud to report that our efforts have reached students in earthquake-affected regions, with 8 students earning academic awards and many others showing significant improvement across 9 provinces—a powerful reminder of the resilience and potential we help nurture.

By providing quality education, we empower students to embrace their cultural heritage while gaining skills that open broader opportunities and instill pride. At the same time, our teachers gain invaluable insight into the rich diversity of China’s 56 ethnic groups, fostering mutual respect, cultural appreciation, and cross-cultural understanding.
