Supporting Families in Our Community

Support Families in Our Community

These days have been extremely difficult for many families in Minnesota. Tensions are high, bringing fear, sadness, and anxiety to our communities. Many small, minority-owned businesses have temporarily closed, and families are struggling to meet basic needs amid fear and disruption.

AAPI Youth Voices — together with local schools and community leaders — is organizing mutual-aid efforts to support families who are too afraid to shop for food and essential supplies themselves. We have been collecting groceries and delivering them directly to households in need.

You can help. If you are able, please consider donating:
Food (non-perishable items, fresh produce)
Diapers and baby supplies
Toilet paper and household essentials

If it’s not convenient for you to donate physical items, we also gratefully accept cash donations or Venmo contributions. All donated funds will be used to purchase groceries and essential supplies, and a receipt will be provided for accountability.

Our community continues to stand together through these hard times. We support one another, share both laughter and tears, and show up with love and compassion. Our Minnesota community remains united as one — this is our home.
