AAPI Youth Voices Economic Workshop The field of economics continues to face a significant underrepresentation of women and minorities—an issue even more pronounced than in the broader STEM fields. In Minnesota, only 31% of economics students are women, and just 12% are U.S.-born people of color—with a strikingly low 4% being U.S.-born women of color.

AAPI Youth Voices embarked on the journey of interviewing AAPI individuals with remarkable life stories and significant contributions to our society.
